Duxbury Networking has launched a range of IP (Internet protocol) desk-top phones carrying its own brand identity. The phones are aimed at applications in the small to medium size business market and are designed to meet the messaging and collaboration needs of a broad spectrum of staff members from executives to front-line personnel and shop floor technicians.

The Duxbury IP phone range allows users to deploy teleworking, web conferencing and a range of complementary communications technologies with a view to boosting team performance and enhancing productivity, says Andy Robb, chief technology officer at Duxbury Networking.

“In line with the values our brand symbolise, the Duxbury phones represent secure, reliable and cost-effective telephonic solutions targeted at a specific market segment which is increasingly receptive to the convergence of IP and telecommunications technologies and its benefits,” he adds.

The basic communication endpoint in the range is the Duxbury D52P which provides support for two Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) servers and features a large LCD display and programmable soft keys. It is supported by the D58P model which adds HD voice capabilities and the D62P phone which boasts Broadworks SP1 compliancy for seamless integration.

Range features include HD audio, programmable speed dials, and an intercom option. The units are voicemail ready and are complemented by comprehensive, illuminated status displays.

Backed locally and available from Duxbury Networking accredited resellers and dealers countrywide, unit prices range from around R 445.00 to R680.00 ex VAT. Accessories include an expansion board with 26 programmable keys from R 399.00 ex VAT.
