Duxbury Networking has added the ACTi E Series to its security camera portfolio. The high definition, fixed lens, cube cameras are offered in one-, three- and five-megapixel options.

All models feature Video Motion Detection and Wide Dynamic Range functionality together with a progressive-scan CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) chip.

“The fixed lens permits recoding at 30 feet-per-second, delivering high quality images at a pixel resolution of up to 1280 x 720,” explains Andy Robb, chief technology officer at Duxbury Networking.

“The E Series’ motion detection feature triggers an alarm when movement is detected in a designated portion of the video display. A privacy masking function – comprising four configurable regions – allows users to block certain portions of an image for security reasons,” he adds.

Other features include two-way audio, selectable H.264 HP and MJPEG compression formats with dual streaming, and PoE (Power over Ethernet) Class 2 which eliminates separate power cables within the installation.

ACTi E Series cameras are available from Duxbury Networking at R1 229.00, excluding VAT.
